Compendium of Heretical Fables
Haereticarum fabularum compendium
c. 453
Theodoret’s five-book survey of heresies, ending with an epitome of orthodox doctrine. Book 5, on the Holy Spirit and the divine names, gives the Samaritan pronunciation Ἰαβαί (Iabai) and the Jewish form Ἀϊά (Aia) for the unspoken Name.
