On the Polemians
A certain Polemius, taking occasions from this man’s writings, also says that there has been a co-substantiality and mixture of the divinity and the body. From there the heresy of the Polemians sprouted. And certain others from Apollinaris’s assembly said that the Lord’s body came down from the heavens; and finding differing doctrines in that man’s writings, some were pleased with these, others with those. How this man, cut off from the body of the Church, conceived the differing nonsense of doctrines, I thought it superfluous to say.
