Library Theodoret Compendium of Heretical Fables

On Florinus and Blastus

Florinus also, and Blastus, belonging to the roll of the presbyters in Rome, inclined toward the corruption of Valentinus. They say that the thrice-blessed Irenaeus, lamenting the disease of these men, made his composition against Valentinus. All these, then, beginning from Simon, brought forth doctrines somehow akin to one another, naming certain Aeons, and projections of Aeons, and other projections of projections.
