What is the meaning of “You shall not appear empty before the Lord your God”?
When you go to worship the Master God, offer such gifts as you are able. The word teaches us that if we have money, we should pray to God along with care for the poor; but if we choose a life without possessions, we should not have a soul empty of good things, but one that has the wealth of virtue.
