Questions on Exodus 16: Aaron’s wife’s father and brother

Why then did he make known to us not only the father of Aaron’s wife, but also her brother?

He teaches the intermingling of the royal and the priestly tribe. For Nahshon was son of Amminadab; and Amminadab of Aram; and Aram of Hezron; and Hezron of Perez; and Perez of Judah. And Nahshon himself was tribal chief of Judah; from their kinship the Lord according to the flesh was born. Not in vain, then, did he teach the intermingling of the royal and the priestly tribe, but showing that the Lord Christ sprang from both, who was called king and priest according to the human.
