Petrie’s excavation report and historical discussion of Hyksos remains. Includes his rendering of Egyptian ḥqȝ-ḫȝswt as “prince of the deserts” (or foreign lands), and his link from the Beni Hasan Absha scene to the later Hyksos royal title.
