זְכַרְיָה

Yahweh remembers. The post-exilic prophet.

Zechariah the prophet encourages the returned exiles with visions and promises the King coming humble on a donkey. This entry is the prophet, not the priestly father of John.

2. זכריהו, father of Hezekiah's mother 2Chr 29:1 = זכריה 2Kgs 18:2.

3. זכריהו, contemporary of Isaiah Isa 8:2.

4. זכריהו, a Reubenite 1Chr 5:7.
